Riot Act, Inc. proudly presents Pride and Prejudice by Kate Hamill on The Center for the Arts Main Stage. Performances run March 4–7 at 7:00 PM, with matinees on March 7 and 8 at 1:00 PM.
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth, Riot Act, Inc. brings this beloved classic to the stage with a bold, contemporary twist.
This isn’t your grandmother’s Austen. Bold, surprising, boisterous, and timely, Hamill’s adaptation explores the absurdities and thrills of finding your perfect—or imperfect—match. Fast-paced and delightfully irreverent, this Pride and Prejudice speaks to a new era while honoring the wit and heart of the original. ~DPS
Directed by Angel May Wise, the production features a talented cast of local actors including Aaron Flohrs, Aaron Hawkins, Ian Chapman, Margaret Gordon, Kayla Dabel, Shannon Perrone, Sage Wilson, Kalley Miller, Suzy Garcia, Linda Rode, Lynnette Turner Parry, Parker Coleman, and Alexandra Jones.
Tickets are available in advance through The Center Box Office and are priced at $35 for adults and $25 for students and seniors. Riot Act, Inc. swag and concessions will be available before each performance and during intermission.
