Riot Act, Inc. is thrilled to present the winners of its 2nd Annual New Play Festival. Nine original works were submitted for the contest and judges ultimately selected three short plays to be produced as part of Riot Act’s Annual Series of Shorts.
Shorts Play descriptions:
Three Step Rug, by Andrew Munz, directed by Cynthia Huyffer
A noir comedy thriller set in 1960s England. See what happens when spies collide.
Love Plays the Piano ~ The Alisa Turner Story by Jayme Feary, directed by Jessica Garnick O’Neal
Based on a true story, this play follows Alisa through heartbreak to find healing through her music.
Tröllaskagi by Andrew Munz, directed by the playwright
A dreamlike play that explores Icelandic Folklore through movement, song, and dance.
Tickets are available in advance at online at www.riotactinc.org or at the door. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students/seniors.
