Lear by Shakespeare

Riot Act, Inc. presents Lear by William Shakespeare on The Center Main Stage.  The show will run March 6-9 at 7:00pm, matinees March 9 & 10 at 1:00pm.  Tickets may be purchased at The Center Box Office:  $30 for adults or $25 for students/seniors.

Riot Act, Inc. is excited to present Lear on The Center Main Stage.  The production will run March 6-10, 2024 including weekend matinees.

Play description:

Lear is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare. It is based on the mythological Leir of Britain. Lear, in preparation for old age, divides her power and land between two of her daughters. He becomes destitute and insane and a proscribed crux of political machinations. ~Wikapedia

Helmed by veteran director Macey Mott with fight director Samantha Kaufman, this classic tragedy features Linda Rode in the lead role.  Our wonderful cast includes Aaron Flohrs, Brian VanHattan, Dolyn Kinney, English Buttram, Esther Mulvihill, Garrett Austen, George Hubbard, Ian Chapman, Jenny Davis, Jess Keil-Brown, Kimberly Hall, Margaret Gordon, Melchor Moore, and Suzanne Spence.

Tickets are available in advance online at The Center Box Office and cost $30 for adults or $25 for students/seniors.  Riot Act, Inc. Swag and Concessions will be available before each performance and during intermission. 

**This production does involve staged violence.  Parental Guidance suggested.**
